Easy DIY Castor Oil Lip Balm Recipe
Making your own lip balm at home is surprisingly simple. Here’s a basic, effective recipe using clean, natural ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon Castor Oil
1 tablespoon Shea Butter (or Cocoa Butter)
1 tablespoon Beeswax pellets
2–3 drops Peppermint Essential Oil or Lavender Essential Oil (optional, for scent and extra soothing)
Instructions:
Combine the castor oil, shea butter, and beeswax in a heat-safe container.
Gently melt the mixture using a double boiler or microwave in short bursts.
Remove from heat and stir in the essential oil.
Carefully pour into lip balm tubes or small tins.
Let cool completely until solid (about 30–60 minutes).
